My name is Nicole Cox. I have been a teacher for 5 years in Wichita, Kansas. I am back in the 5th grade classroom after spending a year teaching K-5 in the computer lab and a year as a technology coach at a Title 1 elementary school.
Students will use a variety of web 2.0 tools in the classroom this year. Our class will have a class wiki and a class bog that will be implemented this year.
I firmly believe that it is our duty to prepare students for the future. Many of them will have jobs that are not yet created, using technologies not yet discovered. We must teach students the basics of how to learn, find information, and solve problems. These are the skills they will need in life.
Nicole is married with 3 young children. She spends her free time playing with her children and dog, surfing the web, and reading.

Hi!
I just wanted to know how to become a Google Certified Teacher
Thank you very much
please let me know by email
I attended the Google Teacher Academy. Google puts this on. There is an application process, those selected have the opportunity to attend an all day training with Google. This post explains more about my experience. http://teachingtomorrow.wordpress.com/2008/06/27/even-more/
I post periodically about new Google Teacher Academies. So check back.
